The Barry L. Joyce Local Cancer Support Fund would not be the success that it is today without our many dedicated and compassionate volunteers. You need only to have the willingness to help and support our Fund. There is something for everyone. We truly appreciate your support!

Volunteer Opportunities

Depending on your time and availability, there are many ways you can get involved with our Fund and we would be honored to have you. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for more information.

Events

We’re always looking for volunteers to work different shifts at our fundraising or awareness events.

The Barry Joyce Cancer Resource Center

Helping with daily traffic and tasks at our Center and/or helping to get clients to the Center for events and activities. You may even be interested in helping with one of our programs.

Head your own “30 Days of Impact” Team

Join our annual spring campaign to help increase awareness and raise funds so that we can help more people.

Committee Involvement

Several committees help determine and make possible what we do at our Center and with our Fund. These include Resource Development, Programs & Services, and more. A great way to use specific talents you may have.

Serve on our Board of Directors

A great way to join other members of the community and have an influence in how our Fund operates. Be it strategic plans, fundraisers, financial aid decisions, and much more, our board is the core of what makes up our Fund.

Host a Shindig

We could not help the hundreds in our area without the support of our community. What a great way to get your friends, family, civic group, or church together. It could be anything from a car wash or bake sale, a walk or a cocktail party. The size doesn’t matter because the fact that you are helping us raise awareness about our Fund is just as important. Have a great time and raise money for a great cause!
